Patty and I have begun shopping and buying foodstuffs for the scow trip. Today we were getting bacon that requires no refrigeration, canned fish, and Tetrapack boxes of milk that require no refrigeration until opening. We scored big on the bacon, but bought out the entire supply of boxed milk in Drumheller. Patty, who is also the expeditions cook is also experimenting here at home trying out old recipes such as bannock bread.
