Scow project update, June 12, 2010- the men and truck that will haul the scow for us.

A nice sunny day! This morning we went to visit the truck and trailer that will haul the scow for us. The hauling will be done by Dan's Oilfield Service with funding assistance from Cliff's Oilfield Hauling, both firms in Drumheller, Alberta.
The truck is a 2006 International 5600i. The crane is an AMCO VEBA 950 6s. The crane has a boom that can extend to 67 feet (20.42 metres) and can lift 20 tons. The men in the photos are (left to right): Albert Dyck, Russ (Rusty) Kuntz, and Dan McCann. A special thanks to these men and Dan's Oilfield Service and Cliff's Oilfield Hauling for helping make the 2010 scow project a reality.
